Our Product
Eco Hoardings were created in response to the huge waste of wood and wood-based products in the construction industry.
Traditionally, hoardings placed around construction sites are made from wood and plywood which weathers quickly, tends to shatter when dismantled and generally ends up as land fill. Wooden hoardings also require painting and repainting on a regular basis during the life of the building project.
Eco Hoardings offer a sustainable alternative made from recycled PVC. The boards are easy to handle, solid and secure, long lasting, reusable and recyclable. They come in a range of colours and do not require painting and the finish is an ideal surface onto which graphics can be directly printed or vinyl posters attached.
We have also developed an innovative demountable, free standing frame system to support the hoarding that has withstood winds of 80 mph. This frame and fixing system is also fully recyclable.
Work is proceeding on a new, more flexible frame system, a more rigid board made from supermarket waste and another made from hard plastic waste such as electrical products. Other ranges of hoarding are being developed using waste plastic, supermarket waste and plastic bags.
The company is also looking at developing products to extend the range of hoarding systems using recycled tyres and recycled concrete.
“Saving resources saves money and saves the planet – it’s as simple as that!”
